SIX MONTHS IS TOO LONG FOR A PROJECT PAN I DO NOT HAVE THE ATTENTION SPAN FOR THIS so I am quitting! I’m calling her quits and pausing to brainstorm my next project pan. It’s 2018 and I don’t have time for unnecessary things that don’t bring me happiness.
Anywho, here are two recent empties:
The Be Fine Gentle Cleanser was pretty great! A nice gel cleanser that wasn’t irritating or pore clogging, and had a fresh mint feeling. If I had any idea of where to purchase it, I would probably buy it again.
The Almay Brow Pencil was fairly disappointing. It was a very dry pencil, and despite only rolling up a bit at a time, half of the pencil snapped off before I had the chance to use it. Definitely not a dupe for ABH! I wouldn’t recommend buying it, as you can easily get products that work just as well, if not better, from more cost effective prices from brands like ELF and Annabelle.
As January comes to a close, I’m very excited to say that I have gone a whole month without purchasing any makeup! At first it was difficult to avoid my usual temptations, like picking up a few products while grocery shopping at Superstore or shopping Sephora or at work when I’m bored, but I haven’t caved yet. Although, I did come pretty close to caving when I saw that an ABH blush palette I have wanted for a long time was on sale at Sephora, but I exited out of the browser before I could consider it for too long. I think because I made this goal so public and because this is a habit I have felt ashamed of for such a long time, the fear of letting myself down is stronger than the urge to impulse-buy makeup in most situations.
