Today I paid homage to my first year winged-liner-gold-shadow-wearing self for my convocation makeup look. I am so happy to be finished my Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Psychology and a Certificate in Public Relations!
Against my better judgment I picked up some wicked drugstore products today. The Physician’s Formula butter bronzer, blush, and highlight is definitely worth the hype (so far, we shall see how I feel after a few long wear tests) and the double tip Marcelle liquid liner is HANDY. These are heavily filtered but I’m feeling it.
I have TWO days in a row off starting today which hasn’t happened in probably close to six months. I’m so excited to just hide away in my apartment and spend some time with my cat and my tortoise and get the introvert-recharge-time I’ve been desperately needing for the past two weeks.
Here’s my makeup of the day! My skin is definitely not this clear without makeup, but I’m finding that it’s already becoming smoother since incorporating glycolics into my skincare routine. Once I’ve given the glycolics a good go I’m going to share my experience with glycolics and hormone-based acneic skin that is very oily and give a little background on the products I tried.
Here’s what I used:
